Flowertrials 2026

FlowerTrials® is the premier international gathering for the floriculture sector. Every year, leading breeders and growers bring their latest genetics and innovations together on a single platform.

In 2026, FlowerTrials® will once again confirm its role as a benchmark for the future of flowering pot and bedding plants.

What is FlowerTrials®?

FlowerTrials® is an exclusive B2B event where more than 50 breeding companies present their latest varieties and genetic developments.

It goes beyond a traditional trade show. This is where innovation becomes tangible. Where genetics, performance, and market-driven thinking converge.

Visitors will discover:

  • New varieties with improved genetic traits
  • Innovations in flowering duration, uniformity, and plant health
  • Trends defining tomorrow’s market

For Hortinno®, this is the moment to demonstrate where years of breeding lead: consistent quality, superior genetics, and long-term performance.

When will FlowerTrials® 2026 take place?

FlowerTrials® 2026 will run from Tuesday, June 9 through Friday, June 12, 2026.

Four days during which the sector focuses on a single goal: accelerating progress through innovation and collaboration.

Where will FlowerTrials® take place?

The event will be held at various locations in:

  • The Netherlands (Westland and Aalsmeer regions)
  • Germany (Rhineland-Westphalia region)

This geographic spread allows visitors to efficiently explore multiple breeding programs and genetic collections.

Why visit FlowerTrials®?

FlowerTrials® is not an inspiration event. It is a strategic platform.

For professionals, this means:

  • Insight into genetic progress and market developments
  • Direct contact with breeders and decision-makers
  • Evaluation of varieties based on performance, not promise

Innovation in bloom. Three introductions shaped by Hortinno DNA.

  • Norabelle is an indoor azalea with a beautiful spring color. A fresh, pink, double flower. The various shades as the flower opens create a true spectacle of color. Naturally meets the Hortinno characteristics: long flowering period, scale-free, and beautiful glossy foliage. This is, by the way, an indoor azalea that can be left to overwinter outdoors. Fits perfectly into our sustainability strategy. Finally, a sister for our Noralinde.
  • Evergreen Red is a hardy garden azalea with excellent foliage retention. The dark green, glossy foliage remains on the plant throughout the winter. This was, in fact, the objective: to focus on improved foliage quality. Equally distinctive, of course, are the beautiful red color and the large flower clusters that appear every spring. As a result, it deserves a spot not only in the garden but also in the living room.
  • Maxymo is a Kalmia latifolia with a beautiful, intense dark red–burgundy color and, of course, the unique Kalmia flower that resembles lacework. Just like the other Kalmias, this one is very hardy, down to -30°C. And it retains its foliage. You’ll notice that leaf quality is one of our key selection criteria. What makes Maxymo unique is its sturdy character, thanks to its robust branches and root system. This is a kalmia that won’t collapse or bend under the weight of its heavy blooms.

Every variety is the result of decades of breeding. Every plant carries the Hortinno DNA: controlled, optimized, and built for the long term.
