Once a rhododendron has finished flowering, it’s best to remove the dead flowers as quickly as possible. This is especially important with young plants, as it allows them to focus their energy on growing rather than making seeds.

How to remove dead flowers

Be careful. Make sure you don’t accidentally cut off new buds that have already formed. Afterwards, apply a little organic rhododendron fertilizer.
